The Coppergate Helmet was recovered during excavations in the ancient walled city of York in 1982. Dating from the 8th century, the Anglo-Saxon helmet is of great archeological importance. This helmet is made from 14 gauge and has leather liners and a leather chin strap for reenactment. The Helmet Stand is not included.
