17th Century Clansman's Leather Sporran
An excellent replica of the 17th Century Leather Clansman's Pouch or Sporran. These Sporrans (coin bags) were everyday items for the Clansmen of the Jacobite period in the Highlands of Scotland. This is a very authentic looking piece, and makes a great gift for Re-enactors and Living History enthusiasts. Handmade in full thickness Leather hide, and the front features a leather tie down flap with a solid bone button.

The pouch has a leather drawstring with tassel ends. Comes complete with a belt loop stitched to the rear. Size of the main sporran is approx 20cms (8") tall and 18cms (7") at widest point. The belt loop adds a further 10cm (4") to the overall length.
