BearArm Ltd first appeared back in 2003 as Medieval Weaponry (or to be more precise Peter Schofield trading as Medieval Weaponry). Since then we have grown into one of the largest knife and weaponry companies in the UK:

We're also Number 1 for Hanwei, by Paul Chen in the UK!

In January 2007 we decided to go Limited, and thus took the opportunity to change our name to BearArm Ltd - the name BearArm comes from the American phrase "the right to keep and bear arms". The first online store we produced was Medieval Weaponry, then we developed Historical Firearms, Oriental Weaponry and finally Coldsteel-uk.com and HowtoSharpen.co.uk.
