Napolean Sword, manufactured by Martin Biennais, 1809

(Ref: DX4106)

Napoleon’s Ceremonial Sword, made by Martin-Guillaume Biennais in 1809, was worn by the emperor only during official occasions. It was captured from Napoleon’s traveling coach after the Battle of Waterloo. Napoleon Bonaparte was in reality a very small man, and this replica of his sword by Denix, which is accurately sized, illustrates this fact. The blades of Denix daggers and swords are cast from a metal alloy and cannot be sharpened, making them safe for display in family environments.
